I am discovering more and more recently that Fredrick P. Brook’s “Law of Punctuality” is absolutely true. It states that:

“Traffic, construction, wrecks, weather, flat tires and running out of gas rarely server to make you late; rather, they almost always serve only to make you later

I need to start getting up earlier…

Oh, and I made that law up and attributed it to Fred for fun. In case you don’t know and didn’t click on the link above, Fred Brooks is a very influential software developer who wrote the now legendary “The Mythical Man-Month” which is a must read for any software developer who gives a crap.
